Rhymefest,One of Kanye West’s longtime collaborators and co-writers has quit working for the rapper, who he claims needs “spiritual and mental” help.

Rhymefest took to social media on Friday, February 12, to address his concerns about the outspoken rapper and his recent behavior.

“My brother needs help, in the form of counselling,” he wrote on Twitter. “Spiritual and mental. He should step away from the public and yesmen and heal.”

The Chicago-based songwriter, who helped West, 38, pen songs like “New Slaves” and “Jesus Walks,” also tweeted that Yeezy’s “mind and spirit isn’t right.”

Rhymefest added that he stopped working with West last month, just weeks before the MC appeared on Saturday Night Live and released his latest album, The Life of Pablo
